Comic entertainment lacks the necessary bite. You probably don’t know Feral? Feral has long since made a name for itself as a reminiscence of the US comic magazine Vampirella, as a sophisticated vampire comic from Germany and as an insider tip within the comic scene in this country.
With the fourth issue, Feral – celebrated, carried and supported by its fan community – ventured into the ¿general public¿ and gained further professionalism and continuity.
The mainstays here are ambitious ongoing stories such as the ¿Jette Greif¿ series by Detlef Klewer and M.W. Ludwig or ¿Dreams in the Witchhouse¿, which editor Ömer Yalinkilic writes and draws based on motifs from the Cosmotropia de Xam films. In addition, each issue features international illustrators who showcase their art in a gruesome way in sophisticated guest contributions.
Contributions from all over the world of horror films and music – and not least a special record edition (Feral Horror Sounds) – round off the exciting overall package.
Feral’s slightly erotic horror stories, which place great emphasis on high artistic craftsmanship, will quickly find more readers and fans ¿in the mainstream¿ as well.
